Rear steps are now on. We ended up putting low voltage step lights in the risers. Work also continued on the interior trim.

The new bead board on front and entry porch ceilings was stained. Range hood was installed in the kitchen. Trim work continues to go up on the first floor

The appliances arrived today! The delivery company showed up with 2 guys, but had to return with 6 to gret the stove in! Work also continued in the kitchen - bead board went on the island and detail around the bottom of the cabinets. We have also decided to replace the tar stained brick on the corner of the house.

Work continued on lower cabinets and bench seat today. We also decided to remove the bead board on the entry porch. The electricians have also been working to set the panels.

Tom and Brad have been taking advantage of the relatively warmer weather and more comfortable temperatures in the house to bang out some serious demolition work.  We're toying with the idea of opening up the entire back half of the house to create a large living room/breakfast nook/kitchen.  The house looks strangely smaller now that we've taken out the walls between the old den, bathroom, breakfast room and kitchen.  Here's hoping it looks bigger when we put it all back together!
